Major Findings
  • With Cubic Spline function, the seasonal patterns were obtained, and use of the linear regression model helped in obtaining the NDVI trend.
  • The seasonal pattern of the NDVI showed the peak increase of the NDVI values on the rainy season i.e. during the August-October time, and the gradual decreasing pattern was obtained.
  • Nevertheless, huge declining was seen during the March-June time. Viewing from the perspective of the NDVI trends, the trend is non-linear and changes slightly per year.
